Me nearly 20 years ago!!

In the early 2000s, I first watched the movie 13 Going on 30.

Teenage Jennifer Garner flipped through a magazine and read, “Thirty and flirty and thriving. Why the thirties are the best years of your life.”

I was instantly a believer.

That movie changed my entire perspective on growing up. It’s why, to this day, I don’t consider 30 “old.” In fact, I have been waiting for this very moment. I have been waiting to thrive!!!

And here we are: This Saturday, I’ll be turning 30 AND performing at SoFar Sounds. If you told young Sydney this was her future, her jaw would have hit the floor.

This birthday is about dreams coming true. I can’t think of a better way to step into this next decade than with music, connection, and YOU in the audience.
